GREAT PLACE TO STAY TO ENJOY ALL THE ISLAND HAS TO OFFER ON A BUDGET!
We visited Aruba in January 2016 and had a great time staying at George and Julianne’s Studio 47 apartment. It was beyond clean and just had everything, including TV and wifi. They even have beach chairs for you to borrow! The unit is extremely safe, and we felt completely comfortable walking downtown and back after dark. Aruba is lovely, with things to do like snorkelling, the National Park, wild donkeys and goats, hiking Mt. Hoiberg, the Natural Pool, the dunes at the north end of the island, great restaurants, 4X4ing and much more. Nice and hot and breezy! We had a wonderful time.

Everything you need is there! We’d loved the modern/gourmet kitchen and being able to cook at home which cut back on restaurant expenses.

This would be great place for kids as the patio is very well secured and you don’t have to worry about them wandering off.
Casa Cosmo offers a luxury resort feel but with the privacy of feeling like you are in a home away from home. If we were looking to buy a vacation home, this would be our cup of tea.
It was great being so close to the ocean, casinos, shopping, trendy restaurants and lot’s more. We enjoyed the culture around us and were very happy with our stay on “One Happy Island.”

Casa Cosmo
Christmas holidays of 2015-2016 we stayed one week in Casa Cosmo and had a fantastic holiday. This unit is fully equipped and has all the comforts of home. We loved the bright colors and the cleanliness of the space. The kitchen is “to die for” with modern appliances and lots of space for kitchen prep. We took pleasure in the convenience of being so close to downtown that we were able to walk to basically everything including grocery stores and fancy shops.
It has a large covered outdoor space where we sat and read our books while being visited by numerous tropical birds and the light ocean breeze. We enjoyed the luxury of being able to turn the air on when the weather was sticky and feeling the cool floor tiles upon our feet. This rental has large windows and plenty of sunlight that contribute to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this rental home to friends and family.

Studio 47 has everything you need in a compact but spacious living area. Super comfy bedding, a large flat screen tv, and the coolest digital shower with three shower streams. It’s a short and safe walk to downtown, grocery stores and the casino’s. I would recommend this super hip hideaway to all my friends.

We had a superb renting experience at Casa Cosmo. We brought our two children and stayed for a month. We loved living just a couple minutes walk from the shops in downtown Oranjestad and a few minutes farther to the Cruise ship terminal to watch the ships take off. George offered us an introductory walk around the neighbourhood and the shopping areas and made excellent recommendations for food. He answered any of our calls quickly and professionally.
We were thrilled to have a cozy and beautifully decorated home base for our visit. We enjoyed taking a short cab ride to the world famous eagle beach for the day and walking the streets during the carnival parades that happen in February. For one week we had another couple join us and the residence is set up perfectly to have two couples because there are two bathrooms and a cute coffee nook in addition to the full kitchen. Lastly, we enjoyed spending evenings on the private, enclosed patio breathing in the fresh ocean air. We highly recommend this unit in particular and Aruba in general. Safest place to go sun vacationing: Great water to drink right from the tap and we found the neighborhood to be most welcoming... Did we mention it's always sunny with a breeze and 27 degrees Celsius?

I stayed at this cute studio apartment June 1 - 8, 2017. I had prior reservations at another location. I ended up changing my reservations so I could stay here at this studio sooner. So glad I found this studio apartment. George the owner was able to get me into this room earlier (appx 3 days early) than my initial reservations. I LOVED this studio. It is perfect for 1 to 2 people. The owner, George and his wife, have done a fabulous job with this studio. I loved that this place was VERY clean, it is EXACTLY what was displayed on the pictures on their website, and George's hospitality was superb! The little details throughout the apartment made me feel comfortable and right at home. So many small details I noticed every day as I stayed there. George made me feel very welcome and followed up multiple times with me to make sure that I had everything I needed to have a great time in Aruba. I felt completely safe in the neighborhood. He does have outside security cameras on the property. (I really liked that.) The kitchen has everything you need to cook including a grill outside on the patio. It has a nice small patio that I was able to sit under the stars and relax in the late hours. The closet had plenty of room to hang your clothes, store luggage, etc. George was available at any time, answered all my questions, gave me tips of traveling around Aruba, and even "rescued" me a couple of times when I got lost driving. I also was shocked that he remembered the day of my birthday. I got back from the beach and there was a surprise birthday gift and card. We had a great conversation. His wife was out of town on business but I was able to meet her on the phone. She was very polite. A half block away is a mini store for the unexpected items you might need but I highly recommend going to the SuperFood (down by high rise hotel area). I also recommend getting a rental car to discover Aruba. (I got mine at Jay's car rental - 8 days $210) I was able to see so much more of this beautiful island. This studio apartment was located within 10 -15 min walking distance to the downtown Oranjestad area. There were a couple local bars and restuarants within a couple blocks away. I left to check out the island multiple times throughout my stay and was able to get around on my own without feeling like a hinder to George when I left at odd hours. His house is on the same property. He even showed me the other rental (that sleeps up to 6). It is adorable also. I would without a doubt stay here again. This place met and exceeded my expectations. I have been to Aruba more times than I can count, ever since I was a little boy with my family, and we always stayed in Resorts. Now that I got married, I had the chance to go on my own with my wife and in-laws (who went for the first time to the island). I found the ad for this house online and booked it, but my expectations were greatly exceeded as soon as we arrived.
This place is amazing, very modern, comfortable and clean. George waited for us after we landed and gave us a tour of the house. He was incredibly friendly, even welcomed us with some cold drinks in the fridge. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped, each bedroom is spacious and has a separate bathroom (both really beautiful).
The best part of the house is its location. You are steps from the downtown shopping area, casinos, restaurants, bars and the harbor. If you decide to rent a car, the house has a safe parking spot, and there is a built-in alarm system which you activate every time you step out. George lives just a few blocks away and is very helpful. We did not get a chance to meet Julianne, but she handled all the booking and payment with me online and through the phone.
Of all my trips to Aruba, this has been one of the most memorable. Thanks to George and Julianne for making it so, and I can't wait to go again!

MARVELOUS!!!
I am a return monthly stay client to Studio 47 (summer 2016 & early months of 2017) and for good reason! The unit has everything you need to feel at home. Though it is in the heart of Oranjestad, it is very peaceful and quiet and you wake up to birds singing. I really enjoyed spending evenings with a glass of wine and a book on the patio under the starlit sky.The hosts went out of their way to make my stay extra easy and pleasurable. I loved having the large TV on an arm to watch from bed or while lounging or dining. There are so many things to see and do from here by foot and by car you have easy travel from here around the entire island. Though it was just me staying here the unit would also be great for two people and the price is GREAT for all the extra special features the unit provides and the extra special treatment from the owners.
I hope to make a third visit to Aruba in the near future and stay at my home away from home.

When I’m on vacation, I love most to have options.
Choices. Things to do, places to see, sites to walk to. To see the culture of the locals and to explore markets. I love to have options. I might wish to hop public transit or make my way across the island with my rental car for a few days. I want to cook something new on the grill. To sit under a sun umbrella , with a coffee or a colada. I also must also walk the beach; ,swim in the ocean waves. Watch the sails of the wind surfers and the boats. The chance to watch this fascinating world- of -people go by or relax in a chaise on my porch and get lost in a book is ideal for me. It was my great good fortune to have found a location in Aruba where all these soulful desires could be fulfilled. Casa Cosmo. It’s a funky, unique, vibrant space . It’s slightly different, in a good way. It’s my kind of place.
The owners and designers are Canadians. A beautiful married couple, warm, welcoming and very experienced in the hospitality business. They keep their little “haven of a rental” supremely equipped. Everything you need, Nothing you don’t. Stylish and comfortable, Secure and situated in a remarkable “ hub-“ in Oranjestaad. A gem of urban-island living.
I ponder my last stay at Casa Cosmo. I feel so good while reliving my time there. Rejuvenated, relaxed, okay... younger even. And I’m also pondering why the heck my next flight isn’t already booked.
I really need to return pronto !
